I attended an amazing 2 day newborn workshop back in August. This was so much fun because we got to learn from two totally different photographers….well 4 actually.
The workshop took place at Twig and Olive’s studio. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Twig and Olive, this is a business made up of three people. Courtney and Doug (who are wife and husband) and Bobbi. The first day of the workshop we arrived, did intros and talked about the schedule for the next two days. After that Elliot from Elly Bean Photography took over and covered her set up, prep, and bean bag posing.
It was so interesting to watch another photographer work. She would pose the baby explaining while she went along and then once baby was in position we all took turns photographing the baby.
Courtney from Twig & Olive shoots almost exclusively newborns in props. While I LOVE the simplicity of bean bag posing I adore prop shots so much!
