I love that being Milwaukee maternity photographer allows me the opportunity to hear people’s wonderful stories. Often times knowing these stories make the sessions seem that much more special. This maternity session was definitely one of those times. Emily first wrote to me with this sweet message.
“Hello! I “liked” your page a while ago and always thought I’d love for you to someday do our maternity / newborn photos. After 4 attempts at IVF, we finally have our little miracle arriving mid-March.”
I was so excited to meet Emily and her husband Jeff, and to be able to document this really special time in their life. Do to the cold weather we began our session in my studio.
Then we braved the elements to get some outdoor shots, and boy am I glad we did!
I loved the candid joy I was able to capture between them. It’s photos like these that I think their child will look at one day and know how much they were loved, and cherished even before they took their first breath. I am so overjoyed for this lovely couple and their family, and so excited to be able photograph this little miracle baby when he/she arrives in March.
Once again, just another reason I think I have the very best job in the whole world!
